TRENDS AND ISSUES IN INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

In Trends and Issues, I created a diversity seminar course called "Navigating Diverse Belief," designed to teach a respectful conversation method. The artifacts include a design document, a matrix of enabling objectives, and a sample activity to help learners meet those objectives.

In Instructional Strategies and Methods, I continued expanding the design of my course, "Navigating Diverse Beliefs" by going deeper into the relationship between objectives, activities, and assessments. The artifacts include an alignment chart for charting those relationships, as well as detailed descriptions of and materials for the activities and assessments themselves.

COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING (CBT)

In Computer-Based Training, I further designed and developed "Navigating Diverse Beliefs" by crafting a conversation simulator, a standalone RLO. The artifacts include this RLO and its documentation. There is also a smaller RLO assigned by my instructor.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

In Project Management, I worked with a team through all phases of the design/ development process to create a training solution for a Norwegian bicycle parts company. The artifacts track each major stage.
